April 9th- Happy Anniversary

My Sweet Maureen -
Jennifer was kind enough to led me space on her website this evening. Fifteen years ago we wed. Two weeks ago I could never have imagined we would spend our anniversary in the SICU of Hackensack Medical. Having just left your side after tucking you in as the clock struck midnight and our anniversary drew to an end – all I can think about is how happy it made me to spend the day there with you, seeing your smiling face.
Happy Anniversary – I will always love you - Dennis

Happy Anniversary Dennis and Maureen! Wow 15 years, that went fast... Wishing you many more happy years together, and a wonderful, slightly late celebration once Maureen's recovered!

Maureen & Dennis, First off HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. I am overwhelmed with
anxiety for you Maureen. However my faith and prayers are making me
understand that God is with you and the proof is in your steady recovery. I
still remember the 4 year old girl named Maureen across the street from me when I moved to 219th St. We all love you and I am constantly getting
asked by my children "How is Maureen?" I am waiting for the day that you
walk out of the hospital and be reunited with your family. Please know
that we are all praying very hard for you. All my love, Mrs DiTucci and the whole DiTucci family.

Dear Dennis,

My cousin, Kim Jennings, has mentioned many times how special a person and friend Maureen is to her and everyone that knows Maureen. With that said, I have shared what has happened to her and your sweet family with a circle of friends who will be rpaying for her speedy recovery and healing for all of your family.

"Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails!"

Just remember....you are each loved and you're not alone. Whenever you feel tired or sad...know that God is listening. Also know that your friends and family are there for you to lean on, cry with, laugh with...whenever, whatever, if ever you need them for absolutely anything.

God Bless,

Cathy Cohen

Jennifer, Thank you for sharing your family's journey with us. It's positively inspirational reading your daily updates. I am deeply touched yet not surprised at the unwavering faith you have. Your mother is of very good stock and I although this burden is heavy the O'Connors have the strength to endure through God's love. I love your family very much and your Mom is in my constant prayers. The meaning of Easter and the promise of God's love for all humanity is evidenced every day through the hope and compassion I read each night when I check on your Moms recovery. God Bless the O'Connor/Martin family. Thank you Jennifer for your courage. Peace.

I remember one day at starbucks, seeing Maureen at the coffee station, big smile, and a million miles away. I Asked her "what are you so happy about?" and she said she was just thinking about the year before when her husband suprised her with a trip (Paris I think) for their anniversary. She was enjoying that trip as much a year later at starbucks as I can imagine she did when she left.

I don't know why , but that has always stuck with me, seeing her just smiling and enjoying a precious memory.

You are in my Prayers,
Joe Evans
