All continues to go well as my Mom remains in very stable condition. The surgery scheduled for tomorrow is still on and will hopefully prove to be a success. The amount of food they are giving her via feeding tube has increased. This evening when I was saying goodnight, my mom opened her eyes!!! Only for a second, but it gave me great comfort to know that she knows I was there. We ask that you keep up your prayers for tomorrows surgery, and ask God for another miracle. Every night before bed I say two things to God. I ask him to watch over my mom, and I thank him for all of you. You have all been there for my family during this trying time, and I know that you will all be there even once my mom is all better! You all truly are wonderful friends. God Bless!

Jenn and the rest of the Martin family, excellent news to read that Maureen continues to improve and her condition is stablized. We will continue to pray for her full and speedy recovery but know that this will take sometime in coming. Jenn your updates are wonderful and your mom would be very proud of your leadership and caring during this very difficult time, you are amazing! Denyse and I are thinking of you each and everyday and look forward to finding ways that we can be most helpful to all of you as things move forward. You are in our prayers and thoughts, hugs to you and the rest of the Martin family, Mauricia and Denyse
Dear Martin Family, Just a note to let you know that you are in the prayers of Helen from Mary Mit. , Mothers in Touch group. May God continue to give quick progress to Maureen and may the beauty of her faith enlighten others. I am sure your presence and enduring love give her tremendous comfort. May God continue to quide all those who care for Maureen and keep you All in His care. Helen O'Doherty_Ferrer
Dear Martin family,
I heard of your mother's struggle through Donnamarie from St. Vincent. I want to pledge you my prayers. Today is the fourth anniversary of Pope John Paul II's death. As you know, he was hit by a German army truck as a young man and yet recovered fully. God has His almighty hand on Mary!
Be assured that your mom is in my prayers, and the prayers of so many of her classmates from St. Francis Prep. I'll be passing her name on to my mom's prayer group as well.
Your mom is such a beautiful person and she will get through this - she's spunky and has a lot of fight in her. She was one of the sweetest people in our graduating class, and I'm sure she got better and sweeter with the passing of each year! We're praying for you Moe!!

Hi, Mary V again...I'm embarrassed to say I typed in "Mary" for your Mom's name instead of "Maureen"...Maybe the Lord wants us all to know that His mother is interceding, too! Love and prayers, Mary
Jennifer, I'm so thankful that you started this site. I have been praying so much for your mom and your family. I have various different churches praying as well. You remind me of your mom in your strength and your positivity. You shine a great light that God has blessed you with through these updates. What a blessing you are to your family. I'm sure your family is so proud. I'm so thankful your mom is improving daily and will not stop praying for her and all of you. In His Love, Liisa
Jennifer- you are an amazing person, just like your Mom. Thank you for taking the time to update us. Our prayers and thoughts are with your Mom, especially tomorrow during her surgery.
