Tuesday- All Continues to go well

After today's surgery the doctors were thrilled. They were able to not only set her leg, but they also were able to close her abdominal incision. This is great news because if all continues to go well, she will be able to communicate better with us all. At this point the tracheotomy removal will be the next major milestone. After yesterdays visit it was somewhat overwhelming and saddening to know that although we have made it this far, there is still so much more that must be done before we can even hear her voice. After today's great success we are seeing that it is not as far away as we thought. We were so encouraged by how positive the doctors and nurses all seemed coming out of todays surgery. Many of you have been asking about how Liam and Ava have been coping without Mom. They are doing fine, although missing her deeply, especially at moments such as dinner and bedtime. They have remained so strong and we have been documenting every funny, sweet, or exciting thing that has been happening so that we can share it with my mom later on. We are so thankful for your thoughts and prayers and I truly believe that they are one of the biggest reasons that all has gone so well thus far. We are all hopeful that today was the final surgery in this phase of my mother's recovery. Please continue to pray for her and my family as we continue to miss her GREATLY. God Bless.

Jennifer You are a wonderful writer and are providing great information. It is easy to see that Jesus is at work healing your mother as we speak. My friends and I are continually praying for her. It will be so great when she will be able to read all the things you are writing down to share with her. May you continue to experience comfort and hope that only Jesus can provide.
